Mary Estelle Henderson, of Euless, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and had many friends and family in Christ. Mary was born August 10, 1936, in Plant City, Florida to Naomi Catherine Cribbs and Fowler Mercer. She attended one school all 12 years at what is now Turkey Creek High School. On December 24, 1953, she married Larry Kenneth Henderson, who was in the Air Force, and she began her life as a military wife. They lived in Florida, Mississippi, Idaho, South Carolina, Germany, Illinois, and finally settled in Texas in 1975, when Larry retired from the Air Force. In Texas, Larry and Mary found their church home at North Euless Baptist Church. Larry was a Deacon and Mary was the church secretary for many years. They both devoted a lot of time and effort in service of the Lord.
Mary is survived by her children, Larry Henderson (Rebecca) of Fort Worth; Dennis Henderson of Irving; Rhonda White of Euless; and Pamela Renfro (Charles) of Bedford; grandchildren Heather Neal of Kansas City, MO; Marshal Bowers of Chicago, IL; Nicole and Kyle White of Euless, TX; Larry Henderson of Oklahoma City; Stephen Henderson of Cleburne, TX; Elizabeth Soward of Burleson, TX; Deborah Henderson and Michelle Henderson of Fort Worth, TX; Marissa Murphy of Fort Worth, TX; and Sarah Hill of Bedford, TX; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Henderson, and granddaughter, Candace Evans. There will be a memorial service on Friday, November 23, at 7 pm, at Foundation Baptist Church (f/k/a North Euless Baptist Church). The viewing and visitation will be held at 9 am on Saturday, November 24, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, followed by the gravesite service at 10 am.
