Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.

She was born Frances Marie Burrell on August 8, 1922, in Fort Worth to Thomas Cleveland and Medora Gordon Wells.

Marie was in love with ballroom dancing, movies, music, jewelry and shopping. She was quiet to strangers but outspoken to those she knew. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. The last two years of her life were very joyful to her because she lived in Durant, Oklahoma, at Featherstone Assisted Living. There she made many friends whom she loved.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, Buster; and a brother, Alfred Hugh Wells.

Survivors: Her son, Johnny Burrell and wife, Pat, of Mead, Oklahoma; daughter, Ann Krueger and son-in-law, Ronny, of San Antonio; daughter, Pam Wetz and son-in-law, John Wetz, of Haslet; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
