Leonard "Chuck" Edward Wright Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away May 20th, 2024, at the age of 73. Chuck’s life was a rich tapestry woven with love for his family, a passion for collecting guns, knives, and Mopar's, and a legacy of strength and character.
Chuck’s enthusiasm for life was as infectious as it was inspiring. His collections were not mere hobbies; they were reflections of a man who appreciated craftsmanship and history. Each gun, knife, and Mopar car in his collection had a story, and Chuck could recount them all with a twinkle in his eye.
As a husband, Chuck was a partner in every sense of the word, providing unwavering support and love. As a father and grandfather, he was a role model and mentor, teaching values of respect, integrity, and perseverance.
Chuck’s departure leaves behind a void that cannot be filled, but also a legacy that will not be forgotten. His family—his loving wife, daughter, and grandson—will carry forward the lessons he taught through his own example of a life well-lived.
In honor of Chuck, we celebrate a life that exemplified courage, passion, and dedication. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him, and his stories will continue to be told with admiration and love.
A celebration of life for Chuck will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034.
