Mrs. Joyce Marie Voss

She was born on December 5th, 1939 in Durant, Oklahoma to Mildred and Walter Carr.

She graduated from Denison High School. She was married to Edgar Voss in 1980. Joyce worked for the Denison Herald, the Fort-Worth Star Telegram, The Lake Charles Advocate, and retired from the Wall Street Journal.

Joyce had a love for driving around, attending open houses, and cooking. She was a member of Brown Trail Church of Christ. Joyce was a loving mother, Nana, and great-Nana and she truly valued spending time with all of them.

She is survived by her children, Rick Landmon, Sherri Beadle, and Lori Gentry. Her grandchildren, Savannah Landmon, Hunter Beadle, Cory Landmon, Tyler Gentry, and Haley Gentry. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Bella Landmon, Josiah Beadle, DJ Cooks, Neveah Cooks, and Skai Cooks.

A visitation for Joyce will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas 76034. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas 76034.
