Joan Henderson

Joan Henderson, of Southlake and Byers, Texas originally from Newcastle, England; passed away on December 17, 2017 in Grapevine, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving sister, mother, wife, Grammy, and dear friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on April 16, 1942 in Gilsland, England to Peter and Ann Smith.

Joan Henderson is survived by her loving husband Bill Henderson, her children Craig Murphy and Christine Gill, and her stepchildren Tommy Henderson, Jan Birkner and Todd Henderson. Forever remembered by her siblings Peter Smith and Norma Clark. Cherished by her grandchildren Brittany Gill and Natalie Murphy; her seven step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Her memorial service will be held at 10am on January 6, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Reception to follow.
