Glida Pearl Pitts

Glida Pearl Pitts (90 Years) passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 in Bedford, Texas. Glida was born June 27, 1934 in Edmond, Kansas to Archie F. Hull and Jennie Faye Hull. She was active in church ministry, worked for the HEB School District as a bus driver for Special Needs children and a full time mother to 4 boys.

She was a resident of the HEB area for the last 56 years and prior to that 15 years in Roswell, NM where she met and married the love of her life, Royce Pitts, on Christmas Eve in 1950. She was a member of First Baptist Church Euless where she was active in all phases of the Sunday School as well as a teacher.

She participated in many mission trips with Royce helping in the building of churches. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father Archie and Jennie Faye, three sisters and one brother, Wilma, Melva, Irma and Kenneth. She is survived by her four sons, Douglas and wife Jerriann, Michael and wife Beth, Richard and wife Colleen, David Pitts, 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A visitation for Glida will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.

A graveside service will occur Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.
