Service: 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Evelyn was born Jan. 30, 1925, in Electra to Jesse L. Sutton and Mattie Ola Harris. She grew up in Wichita Falls and graduated from Wichita High School. She worked at Levi Strauss and Zales Jewelers in their accounting departments prior to marrying Conrad H. Roberts Jr. in 1950. During their 53 years of marriage they resided in Waco, Fort Worth and Haltom City. She was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and caregiver extraordinaire. She was a member of Birdville Baptist Church for over 57 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Conrad; daughter, Marilyn; and brothers, Menford, Frank and Lloyd Sutton.
Survivors: Her loving daughters, Connie Stone, Jane Lawlis and husband, Rick, Ruth Fleming and husband, Reese; granddaughter, Lauren McAuley; sister, LaVerna Pugh; extended family; and dear friends.
