David C. Williams

David C. Williams, age 92, of Hurst, Texas passed away on Thurs, October 8, 2015. Celebration of life: 12:30 pm on Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Burial: 1:30 pm on Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Tommie Jo Williams. David grew up in Wichita Falls. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his military service he used the G.I. Bill to go to college. David graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Texas Tech University. He went to work for Swift & Company in 1950 and worked there until retirement in 1988. David enjoyed golfing, fishing, and gardening. He was a wonderful husband to his wife, and loving father to his 3 daughters.

The family would like to say thank you to his wonderful caregivers, Maria Flores and Joanne Tyler, for their years of dedicated service and care.

Survivors: David is survived by his 3 daughters, Terry Stroud, Leigh Ann Williams, and Amy Williams, granddaughter, Katie Stroud; sister, Jolynn Knowles and many nieces, and nephews.
