Dale Alan Wells

Dale Alan Wells was born on October 24, 1942 in Peoria, IL and died peacefully in his sleep on January 30, 2015, in Bedford, TX. Growing up on the small airport in Salem, IL, he later graduated from the University of Southern, IL as part of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity with a Degree in Economics. Following college, Dale went with INA Insurance Company in St Louis, MO remaining in the insurance business for his entire career. In 1976 Dale moved to Bedford, TX. In 1988 Dale met JoBeth Reed; that same year they started Omega Insurance Agency where Dale worked until his retirement. He enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, NASCAR racing and, of course, the Dallas Cowboys. He was an amazing father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.

Dale was survived in death by his wife, JoBeth Wells. His children Karen Nelson & husband Jim; Kevin Wells & wife Felecia; Kathy Vaught & husband Jason; Jennifer Davis and husband Harold; Stephanie Bartholomew and husband Tom as well as 10 grandchildren and a new granddaughter in law: Ben & wife Beatriz; Sam, Kendall, Zachary, Emma, Jackson, Joshua, Austin, Jacob and Carley. He is also survived by brothers & sisters in law Bruce & Maxine Wells; Mark & Karen Wells and Brian & Gail Wells along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie & Kathryn Wells and his grand daughter Alexa Bartholomew.
