Brenda J. West

Brenda Jeanette West, age 68, of Hurst, Texas passed away on March 13th, 2024

She was born April 4th, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas

Brenda graduated from L.D. Bell High School, and worked as a rehabilitation specialist for the State of Texas.

She married Michael John West on July 18th, 1981. They were married for 42 wonderful years.

Brenda was a member of Boy Scouts of America (BSA), had a passion for baking, gardening, and martial arts.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Michael West, son Chance West, her mother Geneva Lykins, brother Brian Lykins (Vicki), niece Kelley Lykins, nephew Michael Lykins (Stacey), many great nieces, great nephews, and other beloved family.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Douglas Lykins.

Visitation will occur Tuesday, March 19th, 2024 from 5-7pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.

Funeral Service will occur Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at 10am at Pipeline Church, 625 W Pipeline Rd, Hurst, Texas 76053.

Committal will occur Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at 12pm at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.

Family Reception to follow committal at Pipeline Church, 625 W Pipeline Rd, Hurst, Texas 76053.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be donated to Pipeline Church and Boy Scouts of America, as these two organizations were very dear to Brenda’s heart.
