Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 from 1 to 2:30p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Private Interment will follow at a later time.
Barbara was born and raised in Liberty, Nebraska. She was one of three children and adopted by a loving couple at eight years of age. From her youth she was determined, strong, and gracious with a persevering spirit that she’s past down to her daughters and granddaughters. Barbara was very dedicated throughout her career as a Vice President for several Commercial Property Management Companies. Barbara was a trailblazer for women in the workforce with an accomplished career. She inspired her two daughters to pursue their passion and instilled in them a love for God, family and a strong work ethic. She was their rock and everlasting support. Barbara loved art and was a talented painter. She had a love for travel, spending time with her family and friends, and the beauty of flowers and never failed to have bouquets of fresh flowers in her home. Barbara Jean, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend will be dearly missed by those blessed to have shared in her life journey.
Barbara is preceded in death by: her parents, Harlen and Wanda Pyle of Liberty, Nebraska; her sister, Lavonne May; and her brother, John Coolidge.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Brenda Sveska and husband Greg Sveska from Monument, Colorado and Debbie Moody and husband Michael Moody from Colleyville, TX; grandchildren, Hannah Moody, Brooke Sveska, and Anna Sveska.
