Robert Edward McGee, 95, of College Station entered into rest on February 22, 2013 at St. Joseph Manor in Bryan. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, February 25th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 26th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Interment will follow at College Station Cemetery.
Mr. McGee was born January 28, 1918 in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Robert married Addie Lillian Quin on May 31, 1941 in Brookhaven, MS. He served in the Coast Guard and worked for the Gulf Oil Refinery for 38 years in Port Arthur, moving to College Station in 1986 to help raise their grandsons Ryan and Jeremy.
Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his wife, Addie on September 30, 2008.
Survivors include his daughter, Judy Marie (McGee) Anderson and her husband Swiki of College Station; grandsons, James Ryan Anderson; Robert Jeremy Anderson and his wife Tanja; great-granddaughter, Kira and a great-grandson, Kai.
