Robert "Bob" Ewald

Robert F. Ewald, 90, of Winter Park, FL (formerly of Titusville) passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Bob was the beloved husband of Patricia Ewald for 61 years. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, daughters Patty Tyler, Penny Jones, Robin (Tim) Fitsimones and Tracey (Bret Damewood) Ewald, his grandchildren Laurie Schmidt, Grey and Peyton Damewood and Dylan and Devin Fitsimones and his great grandchildren Matthew Morgan, and Madeline and Liam Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Ewald and Myrtle Pelton, brothers Kenneth and Donald Pelton, and his granddaughter Amanda Tyler. Bob was born in New York, NY and joined the US Air Force in 1952. He served his country proudly as a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars traveling the world during his 20 years of service. In 1972, upon retirement from the Air Force, Bob and family moved to Florida. In 1976 he opened All American Pool-N-Patio, Inc. and spent many years growing and cultivating that business to become a pillar of the Orlando swimming pool industry. He retired in 1999 and he and Patricia spent their retirement traveling North America in their RV. Bob loved eating and entertaining. He loved bridge and enjoyed time playing golf. Bob loved his family.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on May 20th from 2-3pm at First United Methodist Church Winter Park in the Marcy Chapel.
