Richard John Dalrymple

Richard J. Dalrymple, 71, of Merritt Island, FL passed away Thursday, April 09, 2015. A native of Newark, NJ, Richard moved to Florida in 1959. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. Richard worked as an electrician before retiring to enjoy boating and antique cars. He was a 32nd degree Freemason.

Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna D. Dalrymple and granddaughter, Jessica Dalrymple.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diane Dalrymple of Merritt Island, FL; son, Darin E. Dalrymple(wife, Elizabeth) of Titusville; brother, Gary Dalrymple(wife, Wilma) of Pittsburg, PA; sister, Patricia Humphreys(husband, Bill) of Loudon, TN; grandchildren: Joshua Dalrymple, Taylor Wimberly and Heather; extended family: Trina Townsend and Jessica Benton; nieces: Becky Rogers, Sheri Roach, Kimberly Besonson, and Kriste Jackson; nephews: Jeffrey Humphreys and Billy Humphreys; great-grandchildren: Bryce, Braedon, Jessie, Kaylynn, Jazmyn, Blake, and Kaleb.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday (4/15) at 5PM at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home.
