Jene M Holland

Jene was born in Hazlehurst; Ms. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Ethel McCardle and step mom Suzy. She is survived by her only brother Jim McCardle (Marie).

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Carl W. Holland.

She earned degrees in both Nursing and Psychology. She was a Nursing instructor/ Director of Allied Health Dept. retiring from BCC after 27 years of service. She was named Director of the year by the Fla. League of Nursing and The Jene M. Holland Assoc. Degree Nursing Scholarship was established. She was an active member and volunteer of the First Baptist Church of Cocoa.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Dandurand (David), two sons; David Holland (Judy), and Dennis Holland (Farah) and 1 fur baby; Abby, 5 grandchildren; Joseph (Megan), Miranda, Holden, Gloria-Ashton, and Alivia-Jezlyn and 4 great- grandchildren; Mathew, Michael, Brennan, and Adelaide.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Cocoa; 750 Brevard Ave. on Thursday June 26, 2014 at 2pm.

A covered dish reception will be held following the service.
