Betty once told me "Marie, you are my best friend", and I felt honored! She bred and raised Champion Minature Pinchers. I don't think that she was ever happier than when showing in AKC events, as a "handler/owner". She just glowed!   I introduced her to Animal Assisted Therapy, better known as "Therapy Dogs". She would ride with me to therapy visits and really enjoyed that aspect of the "dog world".
    For the past 20+ years, we talked almost daily on the phone. I will greatly miss those phone calls...it was just a nice part of our days.  We just enjoyed each other! She LOVED to talk about her dogs and the days of yore, when she shinned in the "Min_Pin" world. She was so proud of her accomplishments, and rightly so.
She certainly left a lasting memory with her beloved dogs, and her name will never be forgotten by so many, many people in the sport.
   She truly believe in the story of "Rainbow Bridge", and now she is at peace-she has crossed that bridge and is with her beloved husband and her dogs.
   We will meet again, my dear friend!

Sorry to hear about Betty, I know that she is in a better place. Betty is my sister-in-law she was marred to my brother Miles Cottle.
