Kim West-Hall

Kim West Hall, of Lake Jackson, Texas, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at her home. By her side were her soul mate and husband Bruce Hall, sister and best friend Kathy Crabtree and sisters-in-law Pam Hagood and Karen Hageman. Kim was born April 16, 1957 in Luling, TX to Lynn and Juanice West. At the age of 4, the family moved to Lake Jackson where Kim developed a love of dance and performing that lasted the remainder of her life. Through her business, Kim West Dance, she and her wonderful staff shared their gifts, talents and joy of dance to kids and adults of all ages. Kim/Kiki/Ms. Kim was graceful, classy, upbeat, fun-loving and an incredibly selfless wife, mother, sister, aunt and mentor. Our sorrow is deep and she will be missed forever. Kim is preceded in death by her parents Lynn West and Juanice West. She is survived by her husband Bruce Hall; sister Kathy Crabtree and husband Gary; step sons Bryan and Russell Hall; Nephews Kasey and Spencer Crabtree. Stepmother Geneva West and Mother-in-law Edith Hall, brothers and sisters-in-law Pamela Hagood (Clyde), Joe Hall (Kimberly), Karen Hageman (Howard), Greg Hall (Janice), Stephanie Kaderette and numerous nieces and nephews. And all of the children and adults that have learned to dance not only with their feet, but with their hearts and minds. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bryan and Russell Hall, Kasey and Spencer Crabtree…and all of their friends that simply knew her as Kiki…that she loved and that loved her. A celebration of Kim’s life will begin with a visitation on Saturday, March 5, 2011, 6 - 8 pm at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Sunday, March 6, 2011, also at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute. Family has asked that any contributions in Kim’s memory be made to one of the following: Brazosport Center for the Arts and Sciences, American Cancer Society, Humane Society or the local or National SPCA. Arrangements are under the direction of Restwood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Clute, Texas.
