Edna Mae Chuter, 97, of Lake Jackson TX was reunited with her eternal companion on July 29 2015 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Edna was born to parents William & Minnie Henry in Franklin, Indiana on March 4 1918. Edna was sealed to Noah Parson Arthur in the Dallas Texas Temple.
Edna was a brilliant and skilled woman who had a long career working with fine electronics – manufacturing televisions with RCA, serving as a quality inspector with Navionics (where she later retired) and then further work with Intermedics (where she un-retired) building pacemakers.
She and her family would buy a home, repair it, remodel it, and move on to new places to improve. To Edna this was something she loved, to take something of value that others might not see – and build it up to something everyone would value. She loved to take a bare patch of dirt, and coax from it flowers; her home – wherever it might be – was always encircled with beautiful flowers she had grown.
Edna loved to shop, to travel (especially to the southern states), and to help others. She loved to help the Missionaries from her church, cooking meals for them, doing their laundry, ensuring that they were taken care of while they served the Lord. She was strong in her faith and she truly loved the Lord. Her kindness extended out from her church to her fellow man; she was glad to have spent many years as a midwife helping those who could not help themselves.
Above everything, Edna loved her eternal family. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren, being with them gave her the greatest moments of her life. Her family loved and adored her and are excited for the day when they will be reunited.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her eternal companion; Noah Arthur.
Edna leaves behind is her husband, Donald Chuter; her children: son Raymond (Shirley) Arthur, and daughters Carolyn Finley, LaDonna (William) Martin, and Teresa Hardman, as well as 28 grandchildren and more than 80 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to Dr. Roger Thompson, Dr. Pant, and Dr. Khan, Helping Hearts & Hand - Della and Sara; and those special friends who assisted Edna in her times of need: Janet French, Donna Bond, and Gail Butterfield.

Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Saturday August 1 2015 at 10am.
