Charles Raymond Rigby, of Angleton, Texas was born May 31, 1929 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to Marian (Collins) & Raymond Rigby and died April 7, 2013 in Angleton, Texas at the age of 83. Mr. Rigby has been an area resident the past 3 years, moving from Joaquin, Texas. He had previously lived in Guymon, Oklahoma for 20 years, where had his wife owned the local airport. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Center, Texas. He enjoyed flying, working on airplanes and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, living on the river tubing and boating and raising chickens for Tyson. He was a former member of Toastmasters and Rotary International. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp serving during World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Rena L. (Talbot) Rigby; son, Charles Robert Rigby; daughters, Janet Roberts and Darlene Blair; grandchildren, Trevor Rigby, Kaci Ruiz, Sean Henry, Amy Popp, Casey Blair, Dustin Blair, Jennifer Angel, Melissa Unruh, Sarah Kirkland, Lisa Roberts; great grandchildren, Makayla Popp, Addie Henry, Cale Henry, Kyndall Blair, Seth Rigby, Kate Rigby, Alec Ruiz, Aston Ruiz, Ali Ruiz, Grace Unruh, Hannah Unruh, Alexia Angel and Shannon Angel.
