Betty Lou Rouse, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Elmcroft Senior Living in Lake Jackson. Visitation will be 12 p.m. Saturday, May 24 at Restwood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, at the outdoor chapel of Restwood Memorial Park.
Betty was born July 4, 1930 in Sweetwater, Texas to Oda and Margaret Hampton. She worked for many years as a teacher and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by numerous family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and uncle William Justice.
Survivors include her husband Wyndell L. Rouse; sons William Rouse and Wayne Rouse; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
