Betty was born to Edwin and Aline Deuser on March 23,1927 in New Albany IN.
Betty married James Lyster in New Albany, IN on September 4, 1944.
Betty was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Betty was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to go fishing with her husband James. She loved shopping and always had a soft spot for her dogs.

Betty is survived by daughter and son in law, Patricia and Troy Lambert, grandson, Seth Lambert.
Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Saturday October 6, 2018 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00pm.
