Alicia Ann Moreno, 42, affectionately known as "Lili" or "Gigi" by family, passed away on September 6, 2023 after battling metastatic colorectal cancer. She was born to Alfredo "Freddy" Moreno and Deborah "Debbie" Reyes on June 22, 1981 in Freeport, TX.
Alicia graduated from Brazoswood High School in 2000 and served as a Sports Trainer during her time there. She attended Alvin Community College and graduated in 2006 with her Associate's degree.
Alicia met her husband, Jorge Marquez in 2015 and they married on July 1, 2023 in Houston, TX. She worked in the Property Management industry for 15 years and was a Community Manager at Madera Residential.
She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, stepmother, niece, and aunt. She was a volunteer with the Kids Unlimited Foundation, an organization that supports children who are fighting cancer and other illnesses.
Alicia enjoyed gathering with family and friends. She never met a stranger. A lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and Houston Astros fan (after converting from being a Braves fan). She also enjoyed dancing with her loved ones at any occasion and at any time (especially the Houston Rodeo).
Alicia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Andrew and Mary Reyes; Exiquio "Zeke" and Natividad "Nettie" Moreno, and numerous aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her husband, Jorge Marquez; her parents, Alfredo and Deborah Moreno; her brothers, Freddy Jr. (Melissa) and Micheal Anthony Moreno; her stepdaughters, Indira, Ingrid, lleane, and Isabella Marquez; and her nephews and niece, Zeke, Gavin, and Elena Moreno, and Landen and Lleyton Orr.
Honorary Pallbearers are Zeke Moreno, Gavin Moreno, Elena Moreno, Landen Orr, Lleyton Orr, Indira Marquez, Ingrid Marquez, Ileane Marquez, and Isabella Marquez.
The viewing is Monday, September 11, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The church mass will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jerome's Catholic Church.
