Will Denny, aged 75, of Clovis, California, departed this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Born to Agnes and Willard P. Denny in Colorado, Will's life was a tapestry of adventure, creativity, and boundless love for his family.
Will is survived by a cherished family who will forever hold his memory close: his daughter, Barbara Denny; his sister, R. Marie Denny; his stepdaughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Gonzalez; his stepsons, Phillip Petrille, Don Hoover, and Wesley Simmons; and his grandchildren, Sarah Randall, Ryan Randall, Reese Randall, and Donivan Denny. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous step-grandchildren, cousins, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jason Denny; his parents, Agnes and Willard P. Denny; and his sister, Nancy Denny.
Known to his family as Herman, Will was a man of many talents—a gifted mechanic, visionary entrepreneur, inventive fabricator, and skilled pilot. Above all, he was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend. Will's restless spirit drove him to explore the world around him, whether through camping, hiking, deep-sea fishing, or taking his loved ones on thrilling airplane rides. His passion for nature and the open road inspired countless journeys, each filled with laughter and memorable detours.
Will's quick wit and sense of humor turned every road trip into an adventure. He particularly enjoyed playing horseshoes with friends and family, creating cherished moments for all. As a skilled metalworker, he poured his creativity into crafting unique metal art and innovative tools, including a pepper harvester for chili peppers.
In his later years, Will embraced a quieter life, yet his adventurous spirit and unwavering love for his family remained constant. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
