Jane was an expert crafter and people person. She loved meeting new people and sharing stories, tips and tricks of crafting, and just generally talking. Everyone who met her was fond of her wittiness, bright personality, and kindness. She went above and beyond for her customers at Chevron, helping them pump their gas and lending an ear to listen about their days. She also loved Elvis and Engelbert Humperdinck, putting their records on the big stereo cabinet and letting their music fill her home.
Jane loved her family above all else. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She and Harold had spent 55 wonderful years together raising 4 children, welcoming grandchildren and great grandchildren along the way. We know she is dancing along again to Elvis with Harold, watching over their family with love and pride.
Jane is survived by her daughters Sandy Mimms (Marty Mimms), Debbie Johnson, and Diane DeAnda and her son Gary Jones. Jane is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren to honor her memory.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband Harold Jones; her father Domingo Montes and her mother Eva Montes; her brother Carlitos Montes; her brother Jay Montes; her sister Annie Sanchez; her sister Della Gastelum; her sister Carmen Longoria and her half-sister Dora Garcia.
