All are welcome.
Frances Louise Mobley was born on January 22, 1940 in Whitinsville, Massachusetts to the late Richard E. And Marion L. Hyland. Fran had 3 brothers and 1 sister - the late Richard Hyland, the late John Hyland, the late Paul Hyland and survived by her younger sister, Carol Carpenter. The family relocated to Lakewood California when Fran was 16 years old where she completed her secondary schooling and was the first graduating class of Lakewood High School. She spent the last few years of her life in Clovis, California.
Fran worked in several different jobs before becoming a telephone operator for AT&T. She worked for AT&T for nearly 20 years and retired over 20 years ago. However, her most important and cherished job she took on was her role as a mom. Fran was a mother to her 5 surviving children - Carmen Sawyer (spouse Donn), David Mobley, Donna Lutz (spouse Randal), Russell Mobley (spouse Lisa), and Janet Mobley. She was blessed and survived by 14 wonderful grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many close and dear friends.
Fran was an avid reader, loved swimming, playing cards and traveling to visit family. She played bridge on a regular basis and only an act of God would keep her away from her Bridge Day. Fran enjoyed visiting and socializing with friends and cherished every moment spent playing, visiting, and loving on her grandchildren. Fran was very easy going and showed compassion toward others - treating those she met with love and respect. She loved to laugh with others and maintained her good sense of humor to the end.
Fran is now walking with the Lord and we are sure she is already making plans for her big BRIDGE game in heaven. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
