Daniel Cox of Fresno, California passed away peacefully on November 10th 2024 at the age of 68. He was born March 4th 1956.
Dan met his wife Gwen at McLane High School, they were married in 1978. They moved to Alaska in 1980, came back to California in 1983 with baby Christopher in tow and have been in Fresno ever since. Little Courtney came along in 1986 to complete the family.
He was known for his love of the Las Vegas Raiders, NASCAR, Disneyland, his Harley and his cats. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A jack of all trades, there was nothing he couldn’t do. He was a welder, roofer, carpenter, security guard, armor truck driver in addition to being a guard and bailiff for Fresno Sheriffs Department. He also worked for the IRS as a CSR until he retired in 2010.
He is survived by his wife Gwen, daughter Courtney, son Chris (and wife Lauren), parents Margie and Shelby, brother Ken and Grandchildren: Olivia, Keith Jr, Emily and Julie.
Small simi-private graveside service will be held on November 22nd, contact the family for information.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the early Summer of 2025.
