Wayne shared 66 years of unwavering love and companionship with his beloved wife, Dee. A dedicated family man, Wayne is survived by his two sons, David Rocke (Dottie) and Dale Rocke (Sherryl), and son-in-law John Stieber (Donna). His legacy extends through eight grandchildren: Nicole Hiller (Scott), Danielle Rocke (David Bosca), Meloney Rocke (John Custer), Dale Rocke Jr. (Naty), Adam Stieber, Benjamin Stieber, Brandon Urban and Ashlyn Urban. Wayne’s joy extended to great-grandchildren, Olivia and Luke Hiller. Wayne is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Stieber, his brother, Barry Rocke, and his mother Mabel Rocke.
Wayne spent 40 dedicated years at Chrysler, contributing to the automotive industry. As a Korean War veteran, he served with honor, and was fortunate not to face combat during his enlistment. Following retirement, Wayne and Dee embarked on countless adventures, exploring 49 of the 50 states in their motor home, creating cherished memories. Wayne will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love for family, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy lives on through the family bonds he nurtured and the stories of his travels that will be cherished for generations to come.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 10 AM, until time of memorial service at 12 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan.
