Ted Maros

Ted A. Maros, age 89, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, passed away on February 24, 2020. He was the beloved husband of the late Estelle; Dear father of Gary Thompson and father-in-law of Mike Zeranick; Loving grandfather of April Edwards (Randy), Lindsay Hendrickson (Matt) and Bradley Thompson; also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, Sydney, Logan and Ryan. Ted is preceded in death by daughter Debra Zeranick and daughter-in-law Helen Thompson.

Ted lived a full life. He was born in Hamtramck, Michigan. He worked for many years as a meter-reader, and eventually retired from Michcon, but also drove a taxicab as a part-time job. He and his wife, Estelle traveled extensively with their friends and particularly loved being in card clubs with their friends to play pinochle and poker. Ted lived for making his family happy, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids, taking them out for activities and adventures.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Interment will take place at White Chapel Cemetery.
