Mary Magdaline McIsaac Spear, passed away on September 09, 2021 at the age of 102. She was the loving mother of Gary (Marcia) Spear, Pamela McLean, Anita (Al) Weber, and Suzanne (Jerome) Kotas. She was fondly referred to as “Crazy Mary” to her 14 grandchildren; Michelle, Kimberly, Lori, Paul, Scott, Renee, Dave, Colleen, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Jason, Jessica, Elizabeth and Michael. She also leaves behind 30 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, brother Donald (Mary Ruth) McIsaac and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Howard; her loving daughter, Gail Jackson; sisters Lucille, Jean and Betty; brothers Willis, Frank, James and Ronald.
Mary enjoyed time with her family and friends at American House. You could find her reading books, doing crossword puzzles, playing bingo, cards or dice. She loved those “Loner” euchre hands. Her smile was contagious and she was loved by all. Through the years, Mary and Howard enjoyed their card clubs, dancing, and traveling. They visited 49 states. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September, 13, 2021 from 3 pm until 8 pm with a 7pm Rosary Service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., MI 48035. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 with instate period at 10:30 am with a funeral mass immediately following at 11:00 am at St. Ronald Catholic Church, 17701 15 Mile Rd., Clinton Twp., MI 48035.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Capuchin Monastery or St. Ronald Youth Ministry.
