Lucas Charles Justman was born amongst the angels of heaven on January 14, 2021. Lucas is the first and greatly loved son of Ashley and Sean; Treasured grandson of Lawrence and Debra Risley and Edwin and Kathleen Justman; Cherished nephew of Michael Risley, Kristina and Joe Bush, Kim Risley, Mandy and Shaun Caplis, and Nicole Justman.
Lucas was born weighing 6 lbs 2 oz and measured 20 inches long. Pure perfection with brown hair and a nose like his Daddy’s, perfectly pout lips like his Mommy’s, squishy kissable cheeks, and baby rolls behind his knees. Mommy and daddy were surprised by how tall he was and the size of his hands and feet, given how vertically challenged Mommy and Daddy are.
He had a love of sweets and music which would often result in somersaults or wiggles when he was in his Mommy’s belly. We were blessed with only a few brief moments to hold and comfort our beautiful son. His full hand and fingers wrapped perfectly around one of our fingers. He loved snuggling on his Mommy and Daddy and they will cherish those moments forever. There are no words that can express the deep love and joy that we experienced in such a short time that will remain within us always.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 3-8 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. All other services will be held privately, officiated by Father David Bechill.
