Leona was simply lovely. She was always poised and had a soft gentleness about her. She was the easiest person at church that I ever worked with. It was my pleasure to know her. 

I first got to know Leona really well about the time Andrew & Bekah were small children. How she loved all her children! She spoke so lovingly of Vic, and each of them whenever we were together.  Leona was a tower of strength, a compassionate friend, entirely non-judgmental, a valiant servant of the Lord, and ever a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints over the decades. She always believed her family would take up her faith journey for their own.  I loved being her visiting teacher over many years and I smile as I recall that she taught me far more than anything I brought to her.  When there was a church calling extended, Leona accepted & magnified it. She especially loved serving in the Relief Society.  When someone needed help, she made the visit, brought the meal, and loved people.  She was absolutely tireless in offering her Christlike love.  Leona, I will miss you deeply - until we meet again.

Leona was a wonderful lady with a happy heart and great love for the Lord.  She gave much to others through various ways.  She will be missed by many.  

My mother was the kindest spirit. She had a soft, loving & gentleness about her that just made you feel loved. She always had time to listen, unless she was rushing out the door for church or an appointment. 
She was a quirky, funny lady and when you made her laugh so hard she couldn’t breathe, everything seemed less painful, scary or overwhelming. 
She spread love and kindness everywhere she traveled and loved unconditionally. She loved you, your friends, your pets, she even loved my bratty parrots. Even some of the neighborhood kids (friends of ours) called her mom. 
We would all be better to take note of her outstanding qualities.

You were a kind loving soul and great listener.  Thank you for always being there for us. Thank you for the great memories.  Reunited with the love of your life.  

Leona was a great example to me. I loved talking to her whether it was about the gospel, politics or cats, but she mostly loved talking about her kids and grandchildren. She will be missed.

A fine lady and a true friend. She is loved and will be missed.  

I remember coming to Church and Leona would be sitting in the middle back row by Carol Tatorus and Gloria Welsh. One of the sweetest souls that I've known....I would keep in contact with her on Facebook and always loved her reaction to my posting....I remember when she hurt her back recently...and taking some of my Lasagna to her and she loved it....I pray that Heavenly Father will comfort all her family in her loss.

Leona was one of my favorite people, someone I looked up to and admired.  Her dedication and love for Vic after his stroke is an inspiration to anyone.  She was an example of Christlike love and devotion.  I loved her dearly.  

I was 11 years old when Leona and Vic were married in '62. They went on their honeymoon and I missed her so much. I remember crying and asking Mom when they would be home. Then whe looking out the window and crying, all of a sudden they were home!!! I ran out, hugged her and never wanted to let go.

Leona was always interested in what you had to say.  Her counsel and opinions were always sincere with loving concern.   She also had a strong testimony of The  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She loved her family and will be missed greatly.  Tender mercies to her family with deepest sympathies.

Leona is also survived by her siblings, Janell (Ed) Cook, Marie (Gene) Jones, Buck (Chris) Biggs, Sheila (Rick) Morrow and sister Linda (Bill) Householder; and lots and lots of nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. Leona was preceded in death by her parents, O.B. &amp; Ruby; her husband, Victor; sister, Sherry (Hulen) Bever.
