Joseph Ciolino. Born February 17th, 1959, died November 24th, 2017. Devoted husband to Shelly Ciolino. Loving father to Anthony Ciolino and Angela (Ryan) Schmuck. Cherished “Papa” to Amelia and David Schmuck. Dear brother of Concetta (Kenneth) Walczak, Grace Ciolino, John (Jeannette), and Dena (David) Bruce. Brother-in-law of Debbie Vernier, Jeri (Gary) Partyka, and Melody Lunsford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Grace Ciolino, and brother Anthony Ciolino Jr. He was the quarterback of our team. He graduated from Harper Woods Notre Dame High School and was a proud member of the 1976 Catholic League Championship football team. He went on to graduate from Eastern Michigan University. For over twenty years, Joseph was a driving force in his company BELFOR. With the work ethic ingrained to him by his father and the kindness ingrained to him from his mother, he became not just a corporate figurehead, but a mentor and a friend. His sudden passing is mourned by his partners and friends Sheldon Yellen, Michael Yellen, Rusty Amarante, and thousands of associates and employees from all over the world. The Ciolino family invites you to join us to celebrate Joseph’s life with us. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 3-9 pm and Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 2-9 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd in Clinton Township. A funeral service will be held at Friday, December 1, 2017 at 9:30 am (Instate at 9 am) at St Michael’s Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd in Sterling Heights. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
