John Christian Ponger, Sr., age 80 passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024. Adored husband of the late Nancy Ponger; beloved father of the late Helen (Steve), John (Kim) Jr., Laurie (Ron), and Heather; proud grandfather of 14; dearest brother to Joann.
John was born on June 7, 1943 in Detroit to the late John and Henrietta Ponger. He proudly served his country with the US Navy.
The family will greet guests from 3:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, June 10 at the above location. Interment following at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Twp.
