Jason Patrick Valin, born June 11, 1974 passed, defiantly, wanting to live, on the morning of October 13, 2024. He began his fight with stage four cancer late and succumbed to this awful disease to early having and leaving behind a young family with his partner in life, and cancer survivor, wife Nicole (Pawloski) Valin and his most treasured son, Kallum Patrick Valin.
Jason was known to tell the doctors and anyone who visited him, how much he wanted to live to see and take part in his son’s life as he grows and thrives. His great-grandparents, Harlow and Alice Valin; his grandparents, James Bill and Louise Newman, and Ralph and Lorraine Valin, predecease Jason. Jason is also survived by a large extended family notably his father, Kevin Valin and wife Michelle; his mother, Becky Newman; his sister, Emily Valin (Zachary Schwartz); his brother, Benjamin Valin (Jacqueline Gross); uncles and aunts (uncle Tim Valin, aunt Janet Misiuda, uncle Colin and Judy Valin, uncle David Newman, uncle Shawn and Kathy Valin, aunt Maribeth and Chris Medaugh, aunt Laurie Ann and Steve Polasek, uncle Robert and Lea Valin, aunt Bridget and Mike Kowalick, and aunt Margaret Valin). So many cousins the list would go on, naming only a few, his extended family consisted of cousins Jeff Valin, Cheryl Valin, Tim Sean Valin, Rob and Becca Southern and so many more; Nicole’s parents Charlie and Karen Pawloski; close friends JT, Jamie, and Shawn whom Jason felt a closeness and comradery in his heart for so long. Jason was brother in law to Danielle (Dani) Pawloski and a proud and awesome uncle to Alexis (Smith) Dewing and Kami Pawloski.
Jason lived his life in his own way, not always the easiest or conventional manner, but his own. In life, he found Nicole, a life partner to build a family of love, dedication, and growth joining in the role of partner with Nicole, guide and father to Kallum and son, of whom we are so proud
