Gloria was a dedicated nurse at South Macomb Hospital for over 30 years. She worked in labor and delivery- where she reflected that "No matter how many first breaths I've witnessed, each new one was just as awe inspiring." She also worked at the Red Cross for 13 years. Gloria was kind, compassionate, and loving. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, playing cards or dominoes and gardening her flowers and shrubs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul; their children, Beth and Melissa; a grandson, Ben; her furbaby, Heidi; siblings, Theresa Francis, Michaeline Vitale; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert & Josephine Ches; and siblings, Jeraldine Ches and Lawrence Ches.
A visitation for Gloria will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home. A visitation will occur Friday, January 19, 2024 from 10:00 am until a Funeral Services at 11:00 am at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
