Emily J Hakim

Emily was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph.

She is survived by her beloved children, Maroun (Lidwina), Emma (Paul) Bochenek, Roy (Tamara), Mary “Tootsie” (Allan) Brazier, Sam (the late Mary Jane), Joann (Michael) Carpenter; her brother, Daher B. (Jeanette) Rahi; Emily was the loving grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Emily immigrated to the United States from Lebanon in 1949. She was the Founder of Emily’s Delicatessen “Home of the Meat Pie” in St. Clair Shores. She will be sadly missed by all.

Visitation will be held at the Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township (just north of 15 Mile Rd.) Wednesday, July 1st, 2-9 pm with a rosary at 6 pm.

Funeral Mass, Thursday, July 2nd, 10:30 am (in state 9:30 am) at St. Maron Maronite Church 11466 Kercheval Ave., Detroit, MI. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI.
