Mrs. Donna Southlea, age 80, died June 19, 2010, at home. Born May 1, 1930, in Mount Clemens, Michigan. A 1947 Graduate of Dominican High School. Beloved wife of Norman J. Southlea. Loving mother of Kathleen (Robert) Carroll, Patricia (Henry) Heydel, Floyd Convery, Karen (Michael) Convery, Carol (Robert) Kasprzak, Mike Convery, Theresa (Kevin) Connors, the late Daniel (Laura) Convery and the late Christopher Convery. Dear step-mother of Gary Southlea, Patricia (Lawrence) Kearney, Linda (Paul) Smudski, and Curt (Sharon) Southlea. Sister of Mary Compeau. Mrs. Southlea is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Longtime member of St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, Clinton Township, Michigan. Lifetime member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Member of the 300 Founding Families of Detroit. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd. (south of 18 Mile Road) Clinton Township. Wednesday Instate 9:30 a.m. with a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, Clinton Township. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
