Dolores Jewel Turay

Dolores Jewel Turay, of Fraser, passed away on September 14, 2018, at 75 years of age. Beloved wife of Steven for 56 years; adored mother of Jim (Rochelle) Turay, Lori Turay (the late David) Strehl, and Michelle Turay; proud grandma of Ryan, Danielle, Savannah, Michaela, Joel (Kaylee), and Jimmy; great grandma of Andrew. Dolores is also survived by her sister, Patricia (the late Don) Stewart and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Dolores was born on May 2, 1943 in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI to the late Octave and Hazel VanErmen. She was a proud graduate of Denby High School, Class of 1961. She was employed with R.L. Polk and Roseville Camera Shop. Dolores enjoyed cooking and being the “House Engineer”. Her main focus was always on her children and grandchildren.
