Cindy Miramonti was born in Detroit, Michigan and attended St. Raymond Grade School, St. Anthony’s High School and Warren Woods High School. She took great pride in her career in administration, including her most recent position at McLaren Macomb Hospital. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Christopher and Nicole Carr, who were the joy of her life. Cindy also found great happiness in music, always looking forward to her Sunday morning ritual of listening to WDET. She enjoyed attending many concerts and jazz festivals during her lifetime. Her other passions included gardening and cooking. She devoted a lot of care into curating a unique collection of houseplants, and everyone loved her signature potato salad.
Cindy left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She will always be remembered by her friends and family for her positive outlook, laughter and shining smile, as well as her generous spirit. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Miramonti, son Christopher Carr, parents Bill and Sophie Majkowski, and brother Robert Majkowski. She is survived by her daughter Nicole Carr, sister Michelle (Butch) Prybyla, brother Thomas (Linda) Majkowski, sister-in-law Debbie Majkowski, and many loving cousins. She dearly loved her nieces and nephews Jennifer, Matthew, Jeff, Nick, Kristina, and Jessica; her step-grandchildren Chalise, Kaitlyn, Kayla, Olivia, and Ethan; and her great-grandchildren Rigsby and Remi.
