Carl M. Veach, age 71, of Chesterfield, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2020. He is beloved husband of Jean; Loving father of Casey (Kristine) and Tyler (Nina Aprahamian); Dear brother of Gwen, Claudia Givinsky (Carl), Marvin (Sue), and Heidi Sabella (Duane); also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Carl leaves behind a great legacy. He loved his family, they were his life, in particular, his sons. He coached every sport they played. “Coach Carl” as many knew him, was an avid sports fan in general. He coached Cagers Basketball for 20 years in Macomb County. Carl also enjoyed getting away and going up north to Canadian Lakes to be on his boat. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Carl will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020, from 2-8 PM, at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI. A committal service will take place Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester Hills, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carl's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (see link below).
