I'm broken hearted to learn of Mr. Fragola's passing he was a great teacher with a big caring heart! My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends and many students who were blessed to have had him teach them. Rest in Eternal Peace Mr. Fragola's you will be dearly missed! 

Wayne and I are broken hearted over the loss of Tony!  We had become dear friends through his daily walks!  Thank you so much for the prayer card!  We did realize he had not been walking, but was hopeful he was just taking time off!  We send you are deepest condolences!  We loved Tony and all our wonderful talks!  He was always so kind to us!  We were all on the same team,  we truly loved him from the bottom of our hearts!  The neighborhood will never be the same!  We were always working on him to come have a beer and talk about local sports!  He was always in a hurry to get back to the love of his life!  You are all in our thoughts and prayers!  We will miss Tony so so much!  You all have been blessed with a wonderful father and husband!  We will miss our Tony!!!!  Our lives were so much better because of him!!!!

I am very sorry to learn about the passing of Mr. Fragola, He was my biology teacher in my freshman and senior years at The Morgan School.  I graduated in 1971 . I want you to know how much he influenced me in my future academic pursuits.  After his senior advanced biology class, he encouraged me to major in biology in college.  I went on to our alma mater, The University of Connecticut,  and got my B.A. in biology with a minor in chemistry in 1975. I wanted to become a high biology teacher like him but the teaching profession was saturated at that time. Pharmacy school at UConn became an option . I knew Mr. Fragola was a pharmacist and a teacher. He always said to us to have at least a couple of options. Fortunately, I also applied to UConn's School of Dental Medicine and got accepted. During my second year at The UConn Health Center, I came home for a brief break and brought Mr. Fragola up to give him a tour of this new and amazing facility. He wished to see the  labs involved  in cancer research. He was always orientated to the basic biological sciences.  He will be missed.  Phil Harrington, D.M.D.

What a lovely man and an extraordinary teacher.  He was brilliant and engaging in the classroom, and so kind to his students.

My dearest Karen and family,
Ed and I are so sorry to hear that your sweet Dad has passed. You were a great daughter to your Dad and Mom. Always looking after their needs, keeping in touch and making sure they were safe. After their move to Connecticut , their love story continued. Your marriage to Tom was the icing on the cake, they were so very, very happy. May your Dad rest in peace, and may your Mom be strong.

To Aunt Carol, Karen, Tom, Lisa, Ric, Chrissy, Mark and the grands- our condolences to you all.  Uncle Tony was a special person and our family will miss him so very much!  So lucky to have many family memories of all of us together and we will keep you all close with remembering those good times!

My best memory of Mr. Fragola comes not from my classes with him at Morgan, but from a helpful act of kindness. I don't remember exactly who else was there, but I blew a tire very near the Fragolas' house after dropping someone else off in the neighborhood. Mr. Fragola came to my aid and changed the tire for me. My mom baked him a cheesecake by way of a thank you; he said he enjoyed it very much.

I do of course have other memories, school-related, but this one has always stuck with me. Mr. Fragola was a remarkable man; I feel privileged to have known him. 

To the Fragola Family:  I am truly sorry for your loss.  I will always remember “Mr. Fragola “(never called him Tony).  
I worked with Tony at Bell’s Pharmacy when I was 18. Tony called me “Stash” and I loved that nickname. He was the only one using it.  I will always remember him fondly. 

Mr. Fragola taught me more in freshman and advanced biology than any other class I took at Morgan. He was kind, exuberant, funny and endlessly knowledgeable. I also had the privilege of babysitting Mark, Karen and Lisa in their home. He and Carol always made me feel welcome.  I am a little diminished today with his passing, but he has certainly earned his wings and the love and admiration of so many.  My condolences to the Fragola family.

Many a meal I shared with the Fragola family in Elementary, Middle and High School. I spent a lot of time at Mark's house, and he spent a lot at mine.  So many fond memories.  I want to extend my deepest love, warmth, sadness, prayers, and condolences to  the entire Fragola family,  and Mrs. Fragola especially.   Mark, I am truly sorry for your loss.  Please know you and your family are loved.  I apologize I will be out of the country during the funeral.  Our hearts hurt because we miss the life of an awesome person, whom gave much, and was loved very very much. 

Many memories will remain close to my heart but it's the big smile & light in his eyes that will always come to mind when speaking of Mr F.  💝💝💝

Mr. Fragola was one of my favorite Morgan School teachers!  He didn’t force me to dissect the fetal pig when I didn’t think I could do it!  His kindness and empathy meant a lot to me and all of his students.  My condolences to his family at this sad time. ❤️
