Sally Ann Douglass (aka Mustang Sally), of North Olmsted, OH, died Thursday, December 20, 2018 at age 66. Sally never knew a stranger. She had the ability to make anyone she knew smile with her deep laugh, the colorful and expressive language she was prone to use, and the best-ever homemade chocolate chip cookies that she readily gave to friends and acquaintances alike. Sally had an extra special bond with her nieces and nephews and was a true "Auntie Mame" to them. Special memories include fort-building in the basement, junk-food fests, playing on the water bed, heart-to-heart long-distance talks, reality-show TV binges, and creative terminology "lessons." But probably Sally's greatest joy was being able to care for her parents, Tom and Pat Douglass, in their last days, providing them comfort, companionship and her special brand of Sally-love. She now joins them and brother, Jim (Mr. Bean), where they are singing, tap dancing and playing instruments together once again.
Sally is survived and missed deeply by siblings Tom Jr. (Ann), Sandy (Bob) and Don; sister-in law, Phyllis; nieces and nephews Jodie, Susan, Tom III, David, Kathryn, Hannah, Sam and Jackson; her beloved Aunt Mary Jane; a host of cousins; and her feline fur-baby, Jake.
No services will be held.
