Ramon was born to Juan Gonzales and Adela Peres in Lares, Puerto Rico on March 27, 1931 and was one of six children. This is where he met and married the love of his life, Aida. In their 66 years of marriage they bore four children; Raymond (Miriam), Moses (Rose), Robert (Alice) and Nancy. They were blessed with a total of 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
With his quiet demeanor, playful humor, caring nature, and a habitual love for scratch-offs and lottery tickets, Ramon was loved deeply by all who knew him. He was kind to everyone he met and would go out of his way to make them feel welcome. He was most himself when he was outside, and you could always find him in his garage or doing some sort of lawn work on any given day. The world has lost an amazing man, but heaven has gained a beloved angel. He will be missed profoundly.
