Lucy C. Nieves, age 72, of Confluence, Pennsylvania and formerly of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on Saturday March 16, 2019 at her home. Lucy was born July 11, 1946 in Comerío, Puerto Rico to Ana Josefa Hernandez and José Manuel Nieves who preceded her in death.
Lucy is the beloved sister of Pedro Nieves (Debra) of Cleveland, OH, Maria Banks (Charles) of Maple Heights, OH, and the late Juan Nieves (Jackie, surviving) of Confluence, PA; loving aunt of Joanna Nieves of Confluence, PA and Jolene Byzon (Michael) of Philadelphia, PA. to whom Lucy was Godmother; in addition Lucy was aunt and great aunt to many other nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Lucy will be held Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 2 to 6 PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44102. A visitation/funeral service will occur Monday, March 25, 2019 from 10 to 11 AM, at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 3607 Pearl Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44109.
