Joseph "Holmes" L. Hughes, age 68, of Lakewood, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
He was born in Logan, West Virginia, the son of Charles R. Hughes and the late Eloise "Louie" (Floyd) Hughes Fountain. Joe is the loving father of Jeff Hughes (Amy Thompson) and SuLee Hughes; cherished grandfather of Marcus Hughes; dear brother of Al Hughes (deceased), Mike (Marilyn) Hughes, Brenda (Ron) Woodrich, Doug Hughes (deceased) and Brady "Tank" Evans; adored uncle of many. Also survived by his girlfriend Jennie Lane.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 10AM-12PM with a service at 12PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland. Interment will follow at West Park Cemetery with US Army Honors.
