John P. Kochik

Loving Son of the late Elmer and Helen Kochik (nee Hreha); dear Brother of Agnes T. Erickson (the late Bill), George Kochik (Claire), Lucy Alarid Gillespie (Bob) and Mary Bigler (Omer); Godfather of Amy Gough, Sarah Alarid and Philip Kochik; Uncle of Chris, Maria, Anne, Gregory, Geoffrey, Michelle, Kevin, Patty, Philip, Amy, and Sarah.

John was a devoted Catholic and placed his faith upon Jesus. John served in the Army as a SP4 stationed in Germany, where he loved to travel the trains throughout Europe. He was a Mechanic at Lausche State Office Building downtown for 25 years retiring in 2005. He was a graduate of Benedictine High school and attended Cleveland State.

The family would like to thank John’s neighborhood community who assisted him prior to his final year living with the caring and excellent staff at Bickford Senior Living in Rocky River, OH.
