William Mack beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Merecki), Loving father of Howard (Janet) Mack and Larry Mack. Devoted grandfather of Spencer, David and Lori. Dear brother of the late Shirley Weiss.

Bill was born on July 5, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Lakewood High School and then attended The Ohio State University. After one quarter at Ohio State he entered the US Army. He was stationed at Tybee Island, Georgia and in Japan and France. After WWII he returned to Ohio State to complete his degree and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

Bill worked in sales for many years for several different companies including Cotton Club Bottling and the SE Bennett Company. Later in his career he started his own company, Bill Mack Specialties. He also taught Sunday school at UJRS/Cleveland Hebrew Schools.

Bill was an active volunteer in the community, working at the Cleveland VA Hospital and Playhouse Square. He was also a Red Cross blood donor. Bill was a member at the Temple-Tifereth Israel for 72 years and of Jewish War Veterans.

Services will be held Tuesday, September 5 at 11 AM at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights, OH. Interment Mayfield Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the residence of Janet and Howard Mack, 23670 Duffield Rd. Shaker Heights, Oh. TUESDAY FOLLOWING SERVICES AND INTERMENT UNTIL 4PM, TUESDAY EVENING 7PM-9PM, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY 2PM-4PM & 7PM-9PM
