Steve was a true gem.
I will never forget his support and kindness when the girls were involved in our Community Theater productions.
I will never forget when Steve brought our first Pinocchio into his dental office to create and construct a nose that could actually grow on stage.  He used a lipstick tube and gauze.  He expertly crafted the perfect Pinocchio nose.  
His kindness along with so many other attributes will be missed.

Steve was a longtime fixture at University Heights Lodge. He was always kind, and welcoming to new members. While he was usually quiet, my fellow lodge brethren will remember a certain time he would always “come alive”. He was a very good man and Mason, we will all miss him.

I am very sad to hear of Dr. Bloom's passing.  I had the privilege to share professional space together with Steve early in my career.  It was a pleasure to learn from him and to help each other from time to time.  The dental community of Cleveland and the community at large was better for his service to the public, his commitment to his profession, and his caring for family and friends.  Please rest in peace. We were so lucky to be welcomed into this family. We have shared so many occasions  with both Cheryl and Steven . Births, Bris, Bar and Bas Mitzvahs, birthdays, holidays always welcomed into your home.  We will miss Steven  and hope as a family to continue to care on the traditions that he helped  to create never forgetting him.

Steve was the younger brother of my best friend in high school Bob Bloom.   He was like a little brother to me.  I enjoyed his company very much although Boband I may have teased him a bit. 

When my wife and I moved to Atlanta in 2003 we needed a new dentist.   We found one and at my first appointment, in speaking with the hygienist it turned out she had worked for Steve in Cleveland and couldn’t say enough good things about him both as a person and a dentist.   

Linda and I send out sincerest condolences to the entire family.  May Steve rest in peace.

Sending all of the Bloom family my love and heartfelt condolences on the loss of Stephen. I remember both Sharyl and him both making time to visit and see me when I made several trips to Cleveland when I was younger with my grandparents, Lil and Sam Bloom. The entire Bloom and Weiss families opened their homes to us and made us feel so welcomed. I remember how sweet and kind he was when we would get together. Wrapping my arms around you and sending you hugs as big as Texas. Love you all dearly!

I  was a young girl when my cousin Sharyl started dating Steve. My sister and I fell in love with him from the start. He was so sweet to both of us and was constantly making us laugh. He never changed. Growing up,  during events or visits he was always so funny, warm hearted and kind.  I know that I will carry his memory in my heart. My husband Steve and I send our deepest condolences to Shari, Tracy, Alison, Julie and his entire family. He leaves a beautiful legacy behind.
