So sorry to hear that Uncle Moe has passed (I only just learned about this). It's been many years since my Cleveland days but most of them were spent in the Savransky house. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family although I know time has passed. I have so many fond memories of our families spending time together.

I just hear about Moe’s passing from an old friend in Cleveland. My father Don Weiss and Moe were best friends since high school. I have so many fond memories of Moe growing up in Beachwood in the 60’s and 70’s. Some of my best memories was having breakfast with them on Saturday mornings at the original Corky and Lenny’s. Having moved to Los Angeles in 1981, I had spoken with Moe every now and then over the past 40 years. After my Dad passed away in 2012, Moe would call me every few years to ask how I was doing. Moe had a nickname for my Dad that I’ll always laugh when I hear it. He called my dad “Black Cat” because he always lost his bets and he was bad luck. 
I am certain Moe and Donnie are back at the deli getting caught up on old stories and laughing about how my Dad was a terrible gambler. Moe was a treasure.  

Moshe Arelitzadik is was my dad always called uncle Moe. Your dad was truely one of a kind, and will be truely missed. Wishing you love and strength in your time of mourning. Mandy and Susie

I am sorry to hear of your Dad's passing - I remember as a kid in Beachwood, your Dad, and My Dad, trying to teach me how to hit a baseball as a lefty!  Moe was a nice man, a good neighbor and a good friend to all!  Accept my sympathies on your loss.
