Marvin’s parents were Holocaust survivors. He grew up in Poland and came to this country in August 1962.
Marvin was a major Cleveland Browns fan and lover of all things cars. He was an avid news reader, pouring over the newspapers as part of his daily ritual.
He owned and managed In Style Blinds (formerly called Drapery Sampler), a successful window treatment company used by many professional and amateur decorators.
Marvin’s grandchildren were a constant and huge source of joy for him in the last phase of his life.
Devoted father of Melissa (Peter Kozak) Berliner of Chicago, IL, Roshelle Berliner of Brooklyn, NY and Laura Berliner of Monterey, MA; loving grandfather of Amelia and Rae Kozak and Jax Berliner; dear brother of Rima, Tuba, Anya and Yossel (all deceased); dearly loved uncle of Paula Craven of AZ and Tanya Sulzer.
The family suggests contributions in Marvin’s memory be made to the Jewish Family Service Association.
